All bands, all modes. Makes the perfect ARES rig for HF, UHF, VHF, and Winlink comms with Vara and VHF Packet.
An oldie but a goodie. HF/VHF/UHF all mode powerhouse.
Probably one of the BEST values in QRP SDR radios today!
Currently part of my ARES go-kit (along with the Xiegu G90) for local comms and Packet Winlink.
At around $425, this is by far the most inexpensive way to own a truly fantastic SDR radio.
The ultimate POTA/SOTA/backpacking HF rig.
A 60 watt, $130 VHF radio that will be set up specifically for portable 9600 baud Vara FM Winlink.
A 4 watt QRP HF rig for just over $100.
Why not?!
More on this radio soon. This radio will anchor my new ARES go-kit.
Along with the Kenwood TM-V71A, this will be DMR radio for my new ARES go-kit.

A very inexpensive (<$100) dual band analog and DMR HT. This one lives in my ARES go-bag. Can also be used for Winlink emails with a Digirig interface..
I'll be perfectly honest here..... I only own this radio because I wanted SOMETHING with 1.25m capabilities! :)
The newest edition, but it's been to cold to get it outside!! More to come later.
This rig, along with a Repeater Builder USB-RIM interface and a Larkbox Pro mini PC, is our club's newest Winlink gateway running Vara FM. Soon, it will be capable of doing both Vara FM and packet. W0BNC-10, 144.930.
